Here’s your personal reading for this week’s energies:
Card A: 7 Cups
The 7 Cups speaks of options. Your head may be in the clouds and your emotions are pulling in different directions. Meditation helps you focus in on what you really want – it takes you to the root emotion.
Are you paralyzed by fear? Or do you feel lost among the options in life? Something is keeping you from moving forward, but that something is your own mind in the clouds. Unfocused.
Avoid escapism and direct your focus internally. Meditation is the key right now. Learn at least one technique that works for you. There are thousands to choose from. Just like the options in this card. Clear your mind with a focus.
Card B: 8 Cups
Another card of escapism.
The 8 of cups is a card of abandonment. This is abandonment of an emotional attachment. We attach to people, places, things, and ideas. What are you escaping or leaving behind right now?
When we walk away from the cups that we have invested emotion, life takes a turn. Walking away from something is an important decision. It’s sometimes the best decision to make for a better life. It can also be the wrong decision if we are walking away due to escapism. For instance, if someone is walking away from a family because they prefer the escape of drugs and alcohol, that would be a negative path for the soul’s journey.
This card can be good or bad depending on your situation. Many times, we walk away in disappointment. So this is a card of disappointment.
Disappointment is a powerful catalyst to change. What is disappointing you?
Card C: Death
The Death card is the card of major transformation. Each of the characters in the card react differently to death. How are you reacting to the death you are dealing with? Are you letting go and looking ahead to better things? Are you afraid? Are you grieving?
You are in a time of great transformation and probably emotional or mental upheaval. The only thing constant in life is change, but it is something we resist more and more as we age in this physical world.
The child looks with wonder at death. The child is more open to change than the others. Can you tap into your own inner child and the wonder of what is next?
